About CIERRA OSEI-BUAPIM
Dr. Cierra Osei-Buapim is a New York State licensed clinical therapist that offers therapy to adults navigating mental health challenges. With over a decade of experience, she has worked extensively with adolescents facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges in residential environments.
Dr. Osei-Buapim earned her Doctorate Degree in Social Welfare from New York University. She has served as an adjunct instructor at New York University, Nyack College, and currently holds a role as part-time faculty at Quinnipiac University.
Dr. Osei-Buapim is a contributing author to the text, “Shared Trauma, Shared Resilience During a Pandemic: Social Work in the Time of Covid-19”. Dr. Osei-Buapim consults with non-profits, offering therapeutic perspective in curriculum development for youth participants in underserved communities.
Above all else, Dr. Osei-Buapim is a believer in Jesus Christ, a wife, and mother of two beautiful children.
